Instructions

Getting Started

  • Each team is composed of 4 golfers and must not exceed a $50 salary cap.
  • All 4 roster slots must be filled while keeping the total roster under the salary limit.
  • Players are allowed to create up to 6 teams each per tournament.

Player Salaries

  • Salaries are based on a player's prior year and year-to-date statistics.

Submission Deadlines & Roster Locks

  • All entries must be submitted prior to the first tee off.
  • All payments must be received prior to the first tee off.
  • Once the first golfer of the tournament has teed off, team rosters are considered locked and final.
  • Once rosters are locked, no substitutions will be permitted for golfers who withdraw from the tournament for any reason.

Qualification and Winning

  • After the end of the second round, 3 of the 4 players on each team MUST make the cut in order for the team to qualify for weekend play.
  • If 2 or less players per team make the cut, then the team is out!
  • The team with the lowest 3 golfer total score wins the tournament.
  • All winners are responsible for reporting their winnings as income.

Tie-Breakers

  • In case of a tie, each team will submit an individual low round and low total score for the tournament (i.e. 68 and 280).
  • Closest score to the low round wins, if tied and winners wrap the low score w/ 67 and 69 around a 68, the higher round wins.
  • The same logic applies for the low tournament total score.

Season Tournament Overview

  • The Season Tournament spans all 4 major tournaments. View My Season Dashboard
  • Points are awarded for placement in each tournament, consistent participation and other achievements detailed below.
  • To keep it competitive for all players, tournament placement points are only awarded to your best performing team.
  • Submitting multiple teams will earn 1 bonus entry point per team up to 5 total bonus points per tournament.
  • 10% from each major tournament goes towards the season-long pool.
  • The top two point holders at end of the season win 70 / 30

  2. Select "Edit Profile"
  3. Update your name, profile picture, or click the appropriate button to change your email, username, or password

Historical tournament data was loaded using the email address you used to register for those tournaments. If you've used different email addresses over the years, your teams may be split across multiple accounts. You can easily merge these accounts from your profile page:

  2. Click "Edit Profile"
  3. Scroll down to "Merge Email Accounts" section
  4. Enter the secondary email that contains your historical teams
  5. Click "Send Merge Token" (this sends a verification code to the secondary email)
  6. Enter the 6-digit token you receive in your secondary email account
  7. Click "Merge Accounts" to complete the process

Once merged, all teams from your secondary account will be transferred to your current account, and the secondary account will be deleted.

If you no longer have access to your secondary email account, you can request a manual merge:

  1. Go to your Profile page → Edit Profile
  2. Scroll down to "Merge Email Accounts" and click to expand
  3. Under "Can't access your old email?", enter your old email address
  4. Provide additional details that help verify your ownership (previous usernames, teams you remember creating, tournament history, etc.)
  5. Click "Request Manual Merge"

We will review your request and contact you if additional verification is needed.

Friends & Custom Leaderboards

The Friends feature allows you to keep track of specific users you're interested in following:

  • Friends are users whose performance you want to monitor across tournaments and seasons
  • Adding someone as a friend is a one-way action - they don't need to approve or reciprocate
  • You can easily filter any leaderboard to show just you and your friends
  • Your friends list is private and only visible to you

Friends are your personal "watchlist" of users you care about competing against or following.

Custom Leaderboards are tournament-specific groups that you create to track a specific set of teams:

  • Each Custom Leaderboard exists for a specific tournament only
  • You can add any team to your Custom Leaderboard - not just your friends' teams
  • Custom Leaderboards have names and are automatically shared with other players
  • You can create multiple Custom Leaderboards for any tournament

Custom Leaderboards are perfect for creating specific competitions like office pools, friend groups, or other competitions within a tournament.

Feature Friends Custom Leaderboards
Persistence Permanent across all tournaments and seasons Specific to a single tournament
Who to include Players (across all their teams) Specific teams (even multiple teams from one player)
Creation One-click to add a friend Create a named leaderboard, then add specific teams
Visibility Available in all tournaments and seasons Only visible in the tournament they were created for
Best for Tracking family/friends across all seasons/tournaments Creating one or many competitions for a specific tournament

Use Friends when:

  • You want to track specific players across all tournaments
  • You're interested in season-long competition with a consistent group
  • You want a quick way to filter any leaderboard to see only people you know
  • You want to compare yourself against the same group of people over time

Use Custom Leaderboards when:

  • You're running a specific competition for a single tournament (office pool, etc.)
  • You need to include specific teams, not just all teams from certain players
  • For example, you are competing in the masters amongst friends, but everyone has to pick only one team to compete
  • You want to create multiple different groupings for the same tournament
  • You want to share a specific competition view with others

Best practice: Add your regular competitors as Friends, and then use Custom Leaderboards for specific tournament competitions that might include a different mix of teams.

You can manage your Friends in several ways:

  1. From Tournament Leaderboards: Click the list dropdown and select the green plus icon () next to a player's name to add them as a friend. Click the red minus icon () to remove them.
  2. From Season Standings: Use the same plus/minus icons next to each player in the season leaderboard.
  3. Filtering: Click "My Friends" at the top of any leaderboard to show only your friends and yourself.

There's no limit to how many friends you can add, and users won't be notified when you add or remove them as friends.

  1. Go to the Roster page for the tournament
  2. Look for the "Custom Leaderboards" dropdown in the upper section
  3. Click "Create New Leaderboard"
  4. Enter a name for your leaderboard (e.g., "FBom 2025 Masters Pool") and click "Create"
  5. Then simply click the list button next to any team on the leaderboard to add them to your custom leaderboard
  6. There is an option to add all teams from a user to your leaderboard .
  7. You can add as many teams as you want to your custom leaderboard

Once created, every team you add to your custom leaderboard will also see the leaderboard in their "Custom Leaderboards" dropdown.

From the Roster page:

  1. Look for the "Custom Leaderboards" dropdown
  2. You'll see a list of leaderboards you've created or joined
  3. Select a leaderboard to view it
  4. If you're the creator, you'll see options to edit, add teams, or delete the leaderboard
  5. Remember, everyone added to a custom leaderboard will also see it in their "Custom Leaderboards" dropdown

As the creator, you can add or remove teams at any time before and during the tournament.

Team Management

  1. Navigate to the active tournament page
  2. Click "Create Team"
  3. Enter a team name
  4. Enter your tiebreaker predictions (lowest individual round and winning tournament score)
  5. Select 4 golfers using the dropdown menu or search and select them directly from the list
  6. Ensure your team does not exceed the $50 salary cap
  7. Click "Create Team" to save

Remember, you can create up to 6 teams per tournament.

You can edit your teams only before the tournament begins:

  1. Go to the tournament page
  2. Find your team in the list
  3. Click "Edit" next to the team you want to modify
  4. Make your changes to the team name, golfers, or tiebreakers
  5. Click "Update Team" to save

Note: Once the first golfer tees off, all teams are locked and can no longer be edited.

The Manage Teams feature allows you to create and edit multiple teams simultaneously side by side:

  1. From the tournament page, click "Manage Teams"
  2. You'll see tabs for each of your teams (up to 6)
  3. Click "Add Team" to create a new team
  4. For each team tab, enter the team name and tiebreakers
  5. Use the checkboxes in the player table to select golfers for each team
  6. The system will automatically track your salary cap for each team
  7. Click "Save Teams" when you're done

This is the most efficient way to create multiple teams with different golfer combinations and see it all side by side.

The star icons allow you to mark players as favorites for easier selection:

  1. Click the star icon next to a player's name to add them to your favorites
  2. Click "Show Favorites" to filter the list to only show your favorite players
  3. Click the star again to remove a player from your favorites

This is especially useful when creating teams and being able to filter to your favorite players or if you have specific golfers you're tracking for the tournament.

Season Tournament

Your season performance is based on your results across all four major tournaments:

  • For each tournament, only your best-performing team earns base points for placement
  • Participation points are earned for entering a team (5 bonus points per tournament, 5 for the first team and 0 for each additional team)
  • Perfect team bonuses (when all 4 golfers make the cut) earn additional points
  • Low round and tournament score tiebreaker bonuses can earn 5 points each (each bonus can only be earned once per tournament)
  • Season participation bonuses are awarded based on how many tournaments you enter through the season (5 points for 2, 5 more points for 3, and 15 more for joining all 4 season tournaments for a max total of 25 points)

For full details, see the Season Scoring tab.

Your season standings and detailed performance metrics are available on the Dashboard:

  1. Click on "Dashboard" in the main navigation
  2. View your current season rank, total points, and performance breakdown
  3. Check the season leaderboard to see how you compare to other players
  4. Use the year selector to view historical seasons or special timeframes (Last 3 Years, Last 5 Years)

The dashboard is updated after each tournament concludes with your latest results and statistics.

These are special timeframe views that allow you to focus on more recent performance. Players who have been around for a while will be at the top of the all-time leaderboard, so these allow you to track more recent performance:

  • Last 3 Years: Shows your performance across only the most recent 3 seasons
  • Last 5 Years: Shows your performance across only the most recent 5 seasons
  • All Time: Shows your complete historical performance

These options are particularly useful for newer players who want to see how they stack up against other players over comparable timeframes, rather than seeing only longtime players at the top of the all-time leaderboard.
